The Mosquito® sterile self-releasing catheter is designed for professional piercing procedures and is EO sterilized for single use. Available gauges are identified by colour for quick selection:
- 14G / 2.1 mm – Used for 12G / 2.0 mm piercings (Orange).
- 16G / 1.7 mm – Used for 14G / 1.6 mm piercings (Gray).
- 18G / 1.2 mm – Used for 16G / 1.2 mm piercings (Green).
- 20G / 1.1 mm – Used for 18G or 20G / 1.0 or 0.8 mm piercings (Pink).
New on the 18G model: Improved Comfort Grip, fully coloured blister pack for easier size identification and a redesigned cap that can also be used as a receiving tube. These improvements will soon be introduced to the remaining sizes.
Made in Germany. Manufactured for professional use and EO sterilized for single-use procedures.
